The Jingu family, my Grandmother Mary's family ( Mary is standing, back row second from the right), was known for their laughter and warm heart. The family lived in San Antonio, Texas before the war in the Brackenridge Tea Garden built and maintained by my great-grand father Eizo (seated). Uncle Jimmy, back row on the right, served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, an Army unit comprised of Japanese Americans from Hawaii and the mainland.
